New Features

QHow do I record which player scored a goal?

Click the small ✏ +player button under the team's score to open the scorer entry form. Enter the player's name or jersey number (e.g. "#12" or "Smith") and confirm. This is optional — for a quick unattributed goal just click the score number or + button directly. Named goals appear in the Game History panel with the period and time remaining.

QHow does the Swap Sides button work?

The Swap Sides button in the control panel flips the home and away teams in one tap — their scores, colors, penalty timers, and all recorded events remap correctly. Use it at each intermission to match the real-game direction change. The action is undoable if you tap it by mistake.

QCan I upload my team's logo to the scoreboard?

Yes. Open Settings and you'll see a Logo field under each team. Choose any image from your device — it's converted to a small local file and stored in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. The logo appears next to the team name on the main scoreboard display.

QHow do I save games to view them later?

Sign in with your Google account (free) using the Sign In button in the top navigation. Once signed in, a Save Game button appears in the control panel. Click it after any game, give the match a name, and it's stored in your account. Visit My Games (available in the top-right avatar menu) to browse your history, see final scores, and review goal-by-goal logs.

QWhat hockey penalty types are supported?

The scoreboard supports all four standard penalty types: minor (2 minutes — ends early if the opposing team scores on the power play), double minor (4 minutes in two consecutive segments), major (5 minutes, no early termination on a goal), and misconduct (10 minutes). You can add multiple simultaneous penalties per team and the power play / penalty kill indicators update automatically.
